Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food safety and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service while taking orders and offering recommendations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible service of alcohol policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Manage time effectively to maintain efficiency during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
  • Friendly and approachable with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.

Job Details

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected Hours: No more than 30 per week
